Welcome to our latest newsletter. Over the years SiteZero has been operating, we have gathered a lot of information which we feel will benefit our clients and help their website perform at it's peak. So in each edition of this newletter we will be providing you with insight about new features (and how they have been used), tips and client profiles. Enjoy!

New Features

Part of SiteZero's philosophy is ensuring that our Content Management System is always being improved upon to help your business get the best online success it can. The following are some of our latest features and examples of how they have been used.

• Currency Converter - This feature enables your visitors to select the currency your products prices are displayed in. You can set this to automatically choose the currency based on the visitor's geographic location or a specific currency of your choice. Exchange rates can be aquired through "live" data or can be set to your desired rate.

• Rotating Banners - Do you want to show off a particular product? or maybe just give your site an edgier look. A rotating banner is the best way to showcase your images. You can have as many images in the library as you like and you can also adjust the speed at which the images change.

• Downloadable Products - If your business has an electronic product (Software, PDF, E-Book, etc...) that you would like to sell online, this feature is for you. Just create your product, upload your file and you're ready to go. Once payment has been authorised for an order, an email is sent to the customer with a link to your downloadable product, you can also specify how long this link should stay active.

  Our client http://www.ccplans.com/ sells full size yacht plan packs on their website as downloadable PDFs that can be printed out and used during construction. Although a basic site, Compu-Craft are getting some very strong results from this useful feature.

• Email Campaigns - Set and forget. With Email Campaigns you can automatically email a different broadcast to subscribers at set intervals. All you need to do is create a new campaign, add a few emails, specify the length of time between emails and you're done! And at anytime you can go back and add more emails.

As part of our ongoing product development we have implemented a new form in your website's administration under "Support" called "Feature Request". Here you can fill in your requirements, submit the form for assessment and track the progress. So if you require some additional functionality or have an idea for a new feature, please let us know.

Tips

Tip #1 - Image Galleries
Image galleries are a great way to showcase a part of your business that requires that extra bit of attention. By adding text descriptions to each image along with a header for the page, an image gallery can also perform fantastically in Google and help drive more traffic to your website.
Here are a few sites which are using the Image Gallery feature and showcasing different parts of their business.

Tip #2 - Testimonials
The most common reason businesses put testimonials on their website is to help improve their credibility. Another interesting side to testimonials and a very important reason to consider them is their ability to bring more traffic to your website. For example, lets have a look 3 main aspects used in Black Magic Spray Tanning's testimonial page;

• A descriptive heading including their business name - Your business name can be repeated throughout testimonials, so adding this into your heading increases it's level importance in the search engines's eyes.
• Geographic locations of each testimonial - This is great for when a user searches in Google for eg: "Spray Tanning Bathurst".
• Important keywords about their products and services scattered throughout each testimonial - A testimonial can be seen similar to an advertisment, the text should be very descriptive about your products and/or services to increase the amount of keywords that your website can be found in the search engines for.
