About Us: Overview

Brisbane-based SiteZero Internet was founded by Adrian Purcell in 1996. The company launched one of Australia's first on-line CD stores, a CD store that promoted new independent artists and received several favourable reviews in the national and international media. In 1997, the decision was made to focus exclusively on web development. During this year, Darren Flood joined the company in a sales capacity, bringing to the company his strong sales and marketing background.

Over the next two years, SiteZero Internet built up a strong client base, while undertaking extensive product design and development. In 1999, the company released the EZI-Site e-commerce web site system and, in 2000, released the EZI-Publisher content and community system. By 2002, SiteZero Internet had combined EZI-Site and EZI-Publisher in the product it uses today: CMS a combined web site content management system, e-commerce shop and full colour email marketing platform.

In 2006 the entire platform was rewritten by our lead programmer, Sean Bernard. This rewrite reflected the fast rate of change that has occurred since 2002. During this year Richard Norris came on board as a director and shareholder of the company. Richard brings 20 years plus of business experience to SiteZero Internet to take it to the next level.

As the company enters 2009 it does so with a dynamic team backed up by a truly cutting edge product.

In recognition of its achievements, Site Zero Internet was a finalist in the prestigious Quest Business Achiever Awards in 2002. Today, SiteZero Internet provides ongoing support to more than 160 small-to-medium enterprises, and continues to play an important partnering role in the development and growth of its clients' businesses.

SiteZero Philosophy

Planning...

The process of planning is highly critical to the performance of a website that makes your business money. Consider the following analogy:
Let's say you wanted to build a new building. You wouldn't go and talk to a bricklayer or a roof tiler or painter .All experts in their field, mind you, but not the right guys to talk to at this stage of the project. You would first go to an architect to get a PLAN developed before speaking with those guys.
It's much the same process with a website. Most websites don't actually "work" as they should do and by work we mean: make your business money, generate leads ECT - because they're traditionally built by IT specialists, web developers, graphic artists or a combination of the three, is a bit like letting the "tradesmen" plan the house for you.
A good website is NOT an IT project - it's a communication tool and marketing project and as we know these are areas that are traditionally weak for IT, web developers and graphic artists. The result? A website that's like a "hostess" at a trade show: looks good, answer's basic questions and hand's out brochures, but doesn't necessarily produce sales, generate leads or make money. A waste of money really!!!

Development...

Once you have the plan, you then need to have the correct technology platform to support and implement that plan.
All of our websites have the technology built in to perform most of the marketing functions you need - both now and for the future. This technology, which has been years in the making is in our view the best website marketing technology platform in the country.

Ongoing Support...

So you've planned the right website, you've now got it developed with everything that you need and it looks great and its up and running- who's going to provide you with ongoing support when there's an issue or you want to improve it? Web developers are notorious for poor support because of their business model: the traditional web development business model is to make as much money up front from you as they can, and ignore you later - so it makes sense that you're seen as an interruption to their next job. Not really what you want!!!
SiteZero unique pricing and service delivery model, is designed from the outset to support your business website needs as you grow and evolve.

SiteZero Consultants Make Choosing The Right Website For Your Business Easy...

sitezero consultantsWhen you meet with your SiteZero consultant, he's not there to sell you a website - in fact he's not allowed to!

Our 5-part quality procedure is:

Step 1 - He or she meets with you to get an understanding of your business and it's potential needs / problems / objectives

Step 2 - our consultant then returns to the office and sends you a summary of what they understood to be your website needs for accurate clarification

Step 3 - he then consults with our production team, to discuss the right website plan and develop the right solution for your business

Step 4 - creates a website proposal specifically for your business needs

Step 5 - They meet with you again to present you with a no-obligation proposal and different pricing options and to answer any questions you may have.
